Upon arrival at the Hosea Kutako International Airport you will pick up your rental vehicle and drive the +-40km to Windhoek. Check in at the guesthouse and the rest of the day is at your own leisure. You have time to explore Windhoek and visit the famous landmarks of Windhoek or shop in the vibrant Independence Avenue.

Day 2: The Kalahri Desert and Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch
After breakfast you depart the guesthouse and drive via Rehoboth to the Kalahari Desert, characterized by the red dunes and Camel thorn trees. You will reach the lodge at around noon and afterwards the rest of the day can be spent at your own leisure. The lodge also offers optional activities such as game and nature drives (at own expense).

Day 3: Cañon Village
The trip continues further into the south of Namibia, to the Fish River Canyon. On your way you can stop over at the Quiver Tree Forest and the Giant's Playground (at own expense). After you have checked in at the lodge, the rest of the day can be spent at own leisure.

Day 4: Fish River Canyon
You can spend the day visiting the Fish River Canyon, which is situated along the lower reaches of the Fish River, is one of the most impressive natural beauties in Namibia. With a depth of up to 530 metres, the Fish River Canyon is the second largest canyon in the world, only to be beaten by the Grand Canyon in America. If time allows you can drive down as far as Ai-Ais to visit the hot springs.

Day 5: Lüderitz Nest Hotel Drive via Aus to Lüderitz.
When passing Aus you will be able to see some desert adapted horses, which are believed to descendants of the horses used by the Germans in the First World War. After arrival and check in at the hotel you will have the opportunity to take part in one of the activities offered in Lüderitz (at own expense), such as: • Day trip to Kolmanskop – a ghost town in the Namib Desert • Sedina boat trip – starting from Lüderitz harbour, passing the Diaz Point, lighthouse and cape fur seals.

Day 6: Namtib Desert Lodge
Your trip continues to the Namtib Biosphere Reserve in the Tiras mountains. After arrival at the lodge you can either explore the area with its fascinating landscape, fauna and flora in your own vehicle or you can take part in various activities (at own expense), such as:
• Nature drives
• Guided hiking trails
• Birdwatching
• Guided desert trails
• Star gazing

Day 7: Desert Homestead and Horsetrails
You depart the lodge and drive along the Namib Desert to Desert Homestead and Horsetrails, in midst of the Nubib, Tsaris and Naukluft mountains. Upon arrival at the lodge, the rest of the afternoon can be spent at your own leisure. (This gives you the opportunity to visit the Sesriem Canyon.) The lodge also offers several activities (at own expense), which you could take part in.

Day 8: Namib Naukluft Park, Sossusvlei and Desert Homestead and Horsetrails
Today you can visit the Sossusvlei. From here you make your way to the 2x4 parking area, where you can make use of the 4x4 shuttle (not included, cost N$120.00 per person), which will take you the last few kilometres to the Sossusvlei. Alternatively you can walk the 4km to the vlei. See the sun rise in the massive dunes and enjoy the coolness of the morning to maybe climb up the “Big Daddy” Dune. Overnight at Desert Homestead and Horsetrails including breakfast Day 9: Swakopmund Boutique Hotel Depart after breakfast and drive via Solitaire, Gaub Pass and Walvis Bay to Swakopmund. You will arrive in Swakopmund in the afternoon and check in at the Swakopmund Boutique Hotel, situated in the heart of Swakopmund. The rest of the day can be spent relaxing or exploring this small coastal holiday town.

Day 10: Swakopmund and surrounding area
Today you have the opportunity to explore Swakopmund, Walvis Bay and the surrounding area. We suggest that you visit the Moonlandscape, Welwitscha Plains (please note that you need a permit for this, which is available at Namib i in Swakopmund) or take part in one of the many alternative activities such as:
• Tandem Sky diving
• Quad Biking
• Sand Boarding
• Ballooning
• Paragliding
• Seal & Dolphin Boat Cruise in Walvis

Day 11: Cape Cross Lodge
The trip continues via Wlotzkasbaken and Hentiesbay to Cape Cross. Here you can visit one of the largest seal colonies in Namibia (optional). From Cape Cross it's only a short drive to the Cape Cross Lodge, where after check in you have the opportunity to sit outside on the beach and enjoy a sun downer drink (at own expense), while the sun set in the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 12: Damaraland and Mowani Mountain Camp
After an early breakfast you will depart the Cape Cross Lodge and drive via Uis and Burnt Mountain to the beautifully set Mowani Mountain Camp. On your way to the camp, you can stop over at the Twyfelfontein Visitors Centre and take a walk to the Twyfelfontein Bushmen engravings (at own expense). After arrival at the camp you can either relax at the camp or take part in the optional nature drive (at own expense) that is offered at the camp.

Day 13: Vingerklip Lodge Drive via Khorixas to the Vingerklip Lodge.
On your way you will have the opportunity to stop over at the Petrified Forest (at own expense). After arrival at the lodge you can take part in a short or long walk to the Vingerklip, a 35m high sedimentary rock in the Ugab Valley. Overnight at the Vingerklip Lodge including dinner & breakfast Day 14: Etosha Safari Lodge Today you will drive via Outjo to the Etosha National Park. The rest of the day can be spent at own leisure. You can either take part in one of the activities offered by the lodge (at own expense) or explore the animal kingdom of the Etosha Park in your own rental vehicle.

Day 15: Halali Restcamp
On this day you can explore the southern part of the Etosha National Park as you make your way to the Halali Restcamp, which is situated in the middle of the park. You can visit various waterholes where you can relax and watch the animals as they drink and play, like different kinds of antelopes, zebras, giraffes, elephants. With a bit of luck you can also spot lions, cheetahs and rhinos.

Day 16: Mushara Outpost
Make your way to the eastern side of the park. Here the dense stands of Mopane forests support a large variety of antelopes and predators such as leopards, while it offers a variety of migratory as well as non-migratory bird species safe cover and nesting sites. With a bit of luck you will also be able to spot some lions. In the late afternoon you will exit the park through the eastern gate. Just outside the gate you will find the Mushara Outpost.

Day 17: Rundu and Hakusembe River Lodge
Today you leave the Etosha National Park and travel to the western part of Rundu to arrive at the Hakusembe River Lodge. Late in the afternoon you can join a sundowner cruise (at own expense) or just relax on the banks of the river. Overnight at the Hakusembe River Lodge including breakfast Day 18: Mahangu National Park, Popa Falls and Nunda Safari Lodge Drive along the Trans-Caprivi-Highway to the Mahangu National Park. En route you can visit the Popa Falls. After you have reached the lodge you can explore the area in your own vehicle. In the evening you have the opportunity to take part on a boat cruise (at own expense) around sunset and enjoy the tranquillity of this area.

Day 19: Bwabwata, Mudumu National Park and Namushasha Lodge
Set off this morning travelling onto the Mudumu National Park via the Bwabwata National Park. On your way there, you might encounter Elephant herds and various other animals with a bit of luck. The Kwando River is know for it vast birdlife, which you can enjoy from the comfort of your lodge.

Day 20: Mudumu National Park
Today is open to explore the Mudumu or Mamili National Park or take part in the optional activities (at own expense) offered at the lodge. You also have the opportunity to join a cultural tour at the Living Museum, fishing tour or take part on a game drive on open 4x4 vehicles. (All activities are optional and at own expense.)

Day 21: Nunda Safari Lodge
Drive back to Nunda Safari Lodge, where you can once again explore the park in your own vehicle or take part in optional activities (at own expense) offered by the lodge.

Day 22: Roy’s Rest Camp
Leave the Caprivi behind you and drive to Roy’s Camp near Grootfontein. After check in you can relax at the pool or explore the surrounding area. You also have the opportunity to take part in on of the activities (at own expense) offered by the camp, such as a trip to the traditional San village (bushmen).

Day 23: Frans Indongo Lodge
Depart via Otjiwarongo to the Frans Indongo Lodge. After check in you will have some time to settle in before lunch will be served on the terrace. The afternoon can be spent relaxing at the pool while overlooking the plains. In the late afternoon, you have the opportunity to take part on a game drive (at own expense) on the Frans Indongo property.

Day 24: Okonjima Main Camp
Your last destination before returning to Windhoek is the Okonjima Main Camp. This afternoon you will have the opportunity to be taken on an optional tour (at own expense) during which you will be able to meet, close-up-and-personal, some of the cheetah that are going through the Africat rehabilitation programme. Most of the animals currently living at Okonjima have been rescued from various desperate situations, being orphaned or caught in a trap. The aim of rehabilitation process is to attempt to re-introduce them into the wild.

Day 25: Elegant Guesthouse
Today you depart the lodge and drive via Okahandja to Windhoek. In Okahandja you can stop over at the Kavango woodcarvers market, have a look around or buy some last souvenirs. You will arrive in Windhoek at around noon. After check in you have some time to do some shopping in the city centre.

Day 26: Departure
After breakfast at the boutique hotel you will still have time before heading to the Hosea Kutako International Airport, where you check in for the onward or homeward flight.
