Day 1: Kalahari Desert
Departing Windhoek you travel to the Kalahari Desert and to your lodge, situated amidst the red dunes of the Kalahari Desert. The rest of the day is spent at leisure before departing on a nature drive of the desert, which ends with a sundowner drink upon one of the red dunes.

Day 2: Fish River Canyon
Driving South you stop over at the Quiver Tree Forest and the Giant's Playground.  You proceed past the Naute Dam to the Canon Village near the Fish River National Park. A geological wonder, the Fish River has over millions of years eroded this over 160km long gorge.

Overnight: Canon Lodge or Village on BB Basis

Day 3: Fish River Canyon and Lüderitz
Visit the Fish River Canyon, one of the largest canyons in the world. This gigantic ravine, in places almost 550 metres deep. Enjoy a walk along the rim of the canyon, before making your way to the Aus the the Wild Horses. Afterwards check in at the Klein Aus Vists Lodge and the rest of the day is at your own leisure.

Day 4: Namib Desert
After breakfast you depart via the Neisip Plain and drive along the edge of the Namib Desert to the Hammerstein Lodge. The afternoon can be spend relaxing at the pool or taking part in the optional activities offered at the lodge.

Day 5: Namib Naukluft Park, Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon
In the early morning depart to an excursion to the Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei, a large clay pan in the centre to the Namib Desert, surrounded by the highest sand dunes in the world. On your way back, you stop over at the Sesriem Canyon, where you can go for a short walk.

Day 6: Namib Naukluft Park and Swakopmund
Depart and drive via Solitaire and Ghaub Canyon to Walvis Bay, Namibia's most important harbour town. Visit the salt pans and lagoon, where thousands of birds including flamingoes have the feeding and breeding grounds. The road takes us along the Atlantic Ocean to nearby Swakopmund, where we check into the hotel.
In the late afternoon you depart on a short excursion to the Welwitschia Plains and the so-called moon valley.

Day 7: Swakopmund
Today you can spend relaxing, exploring or taking part in one of the many optional activities offered in and around Swakopmund. Relax in one of the many street side cafes, take a walk on the beaches or do some shopping in the many small shops.

Day 8: Desert Express
The morning is at your own leisure, before you are transferred to station, where you board the luxurious Desert Express train. Sit back and relax in the lounge and see the Namibian Landscape pass by, before you enjoy dinner in the Welwitshia Restaurant.

Day 9: Windhoek
After a leisurely breakfast on board the Desert Express you arrive in Windhoek late morning, where you tour ends.

 Cancellation policies

In  case of any cancellation the following fees will apply:

A cancellation up to 45 days before the tour: 10 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation up to 44-30 days before the tour: 15 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation up to 29-14 days before the tour: 50 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation up to 13-7 days before the tour: 75 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation of 6 days or less: 100 % of the total price has to be paid.

No show: 100 % of the total price has to be paid.

It is strongly recommended to all clients to  take out comprehensive travel insurance including medical and cancellation.
