Day 1: Kalahari Desert
Departing Windhoek you travel into the largest sand mass on earth, the Kalahari Desert. The bushman refer to it as the “Soul of the World”, an emotive description for this area! With its deep red sand dunes and endless grass plains interspersed with Acacia’s and shrubs, it is the only form of survival for a vast amount of specially adapted wildlife. Enjoy the opportunity to experience the fauna and flora that has survived this desert environment for thousands of years.
Check in at the Anib Lodge at around noon and the rest of the day is at your own leisure.
Overnight: Kalahari Anib Lodge on BB Basis
Day 2: Fish River Canyon
Driving South you stop over at the Quiver Tree Forest and the Giant's Playground. The Giant's Playground is so called because the way the dolerite boulders lay scattered around the place like the building blocks of a giant.
On arrival at the lodge you have the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Canon Lodge or Village on BB Basis
Day 3: Fish River Canyon and Lüderitz
Visit the Fish River Canyon, one of the largest canyons in the world. This gigantic ravine, in places almost 550 metres deep. Offers magnificent views into this geological phenomenon. The journey takes us West through the restricted Diamond area to Lüderitz. Here you visit the Diaz Cross, before you have time to explore this small coastal town by foot.

Day 4: Namib Desert
During the morning visit to the ghost town Kolmanskop where diamonds were first discovered in Namibia in the early 1900.
Afterwards you depart via the Neisip Plain and drive along the edge of the Namib Desert to the Hammerstein Lodge.

Day 5: Namib Naukluft Park, Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon
After an early wake up call we depart to the famous Sossusvlei, a clay pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world. Some of the spectacular hills of sand are, at a height of 325 metres, the highest in the world. Only after a heavy rainfall, which is a rare event in this area, does the vlei fill with water.
Overnight: Namib Desert Lodge on DBB Basis
Day 6: Namib Naukluft Park and Swakopmund
You drive through the Namib Desert, via the Kuiseb Canyon and along the Swakop riverbed with stops at the moon landscape and at the Welwitschia Mirabilis, an ancient fossil plant endemic to the Namib Desert. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure and you can explore Swakopmund on your own.

Day 7: Swakopmund
Today you can spend relaxing, exploring or taking part in one of the many optional activities offered in and around Swakopmund. Activities such as Seal & Dolphin Boat Cruises, Quad Biking, Fishing, Living Desert Tours and sand boarding are available at many adventure centres.
Alternatively speak to your guide and see what other options are available in and around Swakopmund.

Day 8: Damaraland
Today you drive along the coastline via Henties Bay and Uis to the vast regions of the Damaraland. You pass Namibia's highest Mountain the Brandberg, before checking in at your lodge in the heart of the Damaraland. This is most probably the most pristine area in Africa, with home to the Desert Elephant and Black Rhino.

Day 9: Damarland and Etosha National Park
After breakfast you visit the Valley of Organ Pipes and the bushmen paintings at Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO heritage site. En-route to the Etosha National Park, you stop over at the petrified forest, where a local guide will take you on a short walk to see the fossil trees. Afterwards proceed to the Etosha Safari Camp near the Etosha National Park.

Day 10: Etosha National Park
You will today receive an early wake up call and after breakfast depart on a game drive into the Etosha National Park. The whole day will be spend in the park, home of over 114 animals and over 300 different bird species. 4 of the Big 5, rhino, elephant, lion and leopard call the park their home.

Day 11: Frans Indongo Lodge
Today we depart via Tsumeb to the Ghaub Lodge near Grootfontein. On the way there you stop over at Lake Otjikoto and the Tsumeb Museum, which gives you a very interesting insight of this mining town and First World War memorabilia found in Lake Otjikoto.
Overnight: Ghaub Lodge on BB Basis
Day 12: Windhoek
You depart the Lodge and drive via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja back to Windhoek.
In Okahandja we stop over at the wood carvers market and back to Windhoek, where the tour ends.

Cancellation policies
In case of any cancellation the following fees will apply:
A cancellation up to 45 days before the tour: 10 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation up to 44-30 days before the tour: 15 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation up to 29-14 days before the tour: 50 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation up to 13-7 days before the tour: 75 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation of 6 days or less: 100 % of the total price has to be paid.
No show: 100 % of the total price has to be paid.
It is strongly recommended to all clients to take out comprehensive travel insurance including medical and cancellation.
