Day 1: Windhoek to Namib Desert
Early in the morning you will be collected at your accommodation in Windhoek and drive via the Khomas Mountains to your lodge in the Namib Desert near Solitaire. This is the gateway to Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei, where some of the highest sand dunes on earth stand towering. The afternoon can be spend relaxing.

Day 2: Namib Naukluft Park, Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon
After an early wake up call the journey takes us to the famous Sossusvlei, a clay pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world. Observe the fauna and flora that inhabits this region. Climbing one of the dunes affords the energetic traveller with an unforgettable experience of endless vistas across a sea of apricot-coloured sand. The early start will give the guests the opportunity to photograph the sun rise in the massive dunes and the shadows created by the combination of sun and dunes.

Day 3: Namib Naukluft Park and Swakopmund
Our destination today is the coastal town of Swakopmund. The route passes through the Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons and what we call the “gramadoelas” (Bad Lands). After check in into your accommodation you have some time at leisure to explore the town of Swakopmund, before departing on a short excursion into the desert to visit the Welwitshia plains and see the oldest fossil plant on earth.

Day 4: Swakopmund
Today you can spend relaxing, exploring or taking part in one of the many optional activities offered in and around Swakopmund. Activities such as Seal & Dolphin Boat Cruises, Quad Biking, Fishing, Living Desert Tours and sand boarding are available at many adventure centres.
Alternatively speak to your guide and see what other options are available in and around Swakopmund.

Day 5: Damaraland
After an early breakfast we depart and drive via Wlotzkasbaken, a small holiday village with peculiar looking houses and past the Burnt Mountain to the picturesque Twyfelfontein Lodge in the Damaraland. This area is one of the most diverse in Namibia and you have the possibility to see the Desert Elephant or even a Balck Rhino. In the cool of the late afternoon you depart to Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO heritage site. Here a local guide will take you to the over 6000 thousand year old bushmen rock engravings .

Day 6: Etosha National Park
Today the journey will take via the petrified forest to the world famous Etosha National Park. The trees of the Petrified Forest were uprooted some 250 million years ago and were swept along by river, where today the remains were uncovered by erosion. On the way to the Etosha Park, you stop over at a traditional Himba village, wher eyou have the opportunity to meet these nomadic peole. Afterwards check in at a lodge near the Anderson gate and Etosha.

Day 7 and 8: Etosha National Park
The next days are foreseen to explore this natural wonder and try to find and see as many different animals as possible.
Of the 114 mammals species found in the park, several are rare and endangered, such as the black Rhino and cheetah. Etosha’s current population of +- 600 Black Rhinos represents one of the few growing populations in the world.

Day 9: Okahandja
Today you depart the Etosha National Park and make your way via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja back towards Windhoek.
In Okahandja you stop over at the wood carvers market, where you can browse around a little for some last souvenirs. Short drive to your lodge, where you can spend the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure.

Day 12: Windhoek
After breakfast you will be taken back to Windhoek, where the tour ends.

Cancellation policies
In case of any cancellation the following fees will apply:
A cancellation up to 45 days before the tour: 10 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation up to 44-30 days before the tour: 25 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation up to 29-14 days before the tour: 50 % of the total price has to be paid.
A cancellation up to 13-7 days or less: 100 % of the total price has to be paid.
No show: 100 % of the total price has to be paid
It is strongly recommended to all clients to take out comprehensive travel insurance including medical and cancellation.
