The Onguma Project was started in 1999 when the Onguma Game Ranch came under new management. The farm shares a common border with the world famous Etosha National Park in northern Namibia. In a nutshell, the Onguma Project entails the pursuit of conservation ideals within the context of a viable economical enterprise. Its purpose is to raise game numbers and to recreate conditions that approach the ecological balance of nature. Onguma offers true tranquillity deep in the African bush, complemented by luxury accommodation in air-conditioned rooms. The accommodation is matched by excellent service and modern amenities such as telephone, fax, and even cell phone reception.
