The name "Etjo" means a place of refuge, and the scenic area surrounding Mount Etjo Lodge provides refuge to a wide variety of Namibian wildlife including elephant, white rhino, hippo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah and several
antelope species including kudu and Damara dik-dik. Game can be viewed from open top 4x4 vehicles or by foot with experienced guides. Mount Etjo Main Lodge also has a garden area overlooking a waterhole so you can sit and watch the wildlife at any time of the day. Accommodation options at the Main Lodge include a private apartment furnished with king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with round bathtub, private dining room and lounge as well as a private garden with whirlpool. Other rooms in the Main Lodge are furnished with two double beds or a king size bed and have en-suite shower and toilet facilities.
